Project Runway in Chicago
I will be in Chicago this weekend promoting the sixth season of Project Runway! I am excited because I have never been to this “windy city” but I will make sure to throw on a couple extra hat pins. Surprisingly though, with an average wind speed of 10.3 mph it is not the windiest city in the United States. Dodge City, Kansas holds that title with an average wind speed of 13.9 mph. Maybe the record winds in Kansas are why Dorothy’s house blew away in the Wizard of Oz.….. well that and the tornado.
So this weekend when I make my way to Chicago I will try to avoid texting/talking while walking across the street (there is a proposed ban on this in IL!) and strong winds since I have a hunch that even a slight wind for Chicago could probably blow me away…I’m kind of lightweight.

I am so excited for the new season of Project Runway. I can’t wait to watch it. I begged Kaivan to tell me how you did, but he refused to tell me!

Hi Shirin,
First of all I am really sad on you leaving project runway..I absolutely loved loved your designs and adored you as a person. I guess the last challenge was difficult on you plus if Jordana didn’t had immunity she would have been the one who is out ..but thats life.
Please continue your hardwork and may you shine as bright as ur smile
best wishes
Aditi
