Project Runway in Chicago

I will be in Chicago this week­end pro­mot­ing the sixth sea­son of Project Run­way! I am excited because I have never been to this “windy city” but I will make sure to throw on a cou­ple extra hat pins.  Sur­pris­ingly though, with an aver­age wind speed of 10.3 mph it is not the windi­est city in the United States.  Dodge City, Kansas holds that title with an aver­age wind speed of 13.9 mph. Maybe the record winds in Kansas are why Dorothy’s house blew away in the Wiz­ard of Oz.….. well that and the tor­nado.

So this week­end when I make my way to Chicago I will try to avoid texting/talking while walk­ing across the street (there is a pro­posed ban on this in IL!) and strong winds since I have a hunch that even a slight wind for Chicago could prob­a­bly blow me away…I’m kind of light­weight. ;-)

    First of all I am really sad on you leav­ing project runway..I absolutely loved loved your designs and adored you as a per­son. I guess the last chal­lenge was dif­fi­cult on you plus if Jor­dana didn’t had immu­nity she would have been the one who is out ..but thats life.
